The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he's always doing both.

Venetian Plaster is a time-honored technique that was developed by the Ancient Egyptians. It was turned into an art by the Greeks and later perfected by the Italians during the Renaissance. The product is made from lime mixed with unheated, crushed limestone. Applied with a spatula and trowel, and then burnished, it creates a smooth surface with the illusion of depth and texture.
Venetian Plaster is very versatile. When applied in the traditional way, it has a very slick urban quality. When done with a distressing technique, it can achieve infinitely textured finishes ranging from old world stucco to walls that look like linen. A natural, eco-friendly product, Venetian Plaster is valued for its mold and mildew resistance.
